Title:  IVD Clinical Application Specalist

Responsibilities:

  • Completing all planned customer visits on time and to the levels outlined in the application manual.
  • Work closely with the sales team to develop and optimise product attributes to achieve maximum customer preference in targeted segments, providing technical support.
  • Perform demos to the customers to develop product understanding and applications knowledge, pre-sales and after-sales validation
  • Occasional training of clinical staff on designated equipment. Help customers to understand all the functions of the products and make the best use it.
  • Help customers and distributors to solve IVD product issues, response in time.
  • Collect distributors' and end-users’ feedback; summarize and analyze customer requirements for future product development and upgrade.
  • Provide training to distributor application staff, evaluate and improve their capability
  • Train the distributor’s team for better product demo to end users.
  • Provide suggestions for the development of distributor’s application team.
  • Keep a good relationship with local opinion leaders.
  • Have a deep understanding of the key accounts (assigned to each application specialist), which include good development and maintenance of customer relationships. Meanwhile, have a close watch of competitor application activities.

 

Requirements:

  • Graduate/post-graduate, major in Medical Laboratory Technology or related.
  • Relevant Professional Category
  • More than 3 years of work experience in a clinical laboratory with good operational skills in IVD products, such as Biochemistry, Immunoassay and Hematology analyzers. Be familiar with the principle, functional characteristics and clinical application of IVD products.
  • Or 2 or more years of clinical application experience in IVD product companies or their distributors/partners. Be familiar with the application process and customer relationship maintenance.
  • Experienced in delivering technical trainings of IVD products.
  • Experienced in on-site technical support, such as troubleshooting.
