Responsibilities:
1. Basic Healthcare IT Project Delivery:
- Lead the planning, execution, and closure of healthcare IT projects, including but not limited to electronic medical record (EMR) system connection, and medical device IT integration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (clinical staff, IT support, vendors) to define project scope, timelines, and resource allocation, ensuring adherence to healthcare-specific constraints (e.g., minimal disruption to patient care hours).
- Conduct risk assessments for technical issues (e.g., data loss, system downtime) and implement mitigation plans; ensure all deliverables meet regulatory standards and client quality requirements.
- Track project progress via tools, and provide regular status reports to stakeholders; resolve on-site technical bottlenecks (e.g., medical equipment connectivity failures) in a timely manner.
2. End-to-End Management of Strategic Healthcare IT Projects
- Own the full lifecycle of high-priority, enterprise-level healthcare IT projects (e.g., hospital-wide EHR system integration).
- Lead demand analysis by working with C-suite healthcare clients to translate business goals into technical requirements.
- Manage vendor relationships for key healthcare IT solutions (e.g., EHR vendors like Epic or Cerner); negotiate service level agreements (SLAs) and ensure vendor deliverables align with project milestones.
- Oversee user acceptance testing with clinical end-users (doctors, nurses, medical billing staff); gather feedback to refine solutions and ensure usability in fast-paced clinical environments.
- Lead post-launch evaluation: measure project success against KPIs (e.g., user satisfaction scores) and document lessons learned for future projects.
3. Healthcare IT Team Capability Building
- Design and deliver role-specific training programs for junior IT engineers & field service engineer, focusing on healthcare-specific technical skills.
- Establish a knowledge-sharing framework: create a repository of healthcare IT best practices (e.g., medical device IT integration guides) and organize regular workshops on technologies.
- Mentor team members on project management methodologies tailored to healthcare projects.
4. Proactive Client Engagement & Healthcare Workflow Alignment
- Conduct regular on-site/client site visits to healthcare facilities to map end-to-end clinical workflows.
- Interview clinical and administrative staff to assess current usage of IT products: identify pain points and unmet needs.
- Proactively identify business opportunities: align client needs with additional services and collaborate with the sales team to propose solutions.
5. Channel Partner Capability Development
- Design a partner enablement program: provide technical training, share sales collaterals (case studies of successful hospital implementations), and offer ongoing technical support.
- Establish performance metrics for channel partners and conduct regular reviews to optimize collaboration; resolve partner challenges to ensure smooth project execution.
6. Service Marketing & Revenue Growth for Healthcare IT
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop healthcare-focused service messaging: highlight how our IT solutions address industry pain points.
- Support sales initiatives by delivering technical demos to potential clients; prepare cost-benefit analyses to demonstrate ROI.
- Identify opportunities to upsell/cross-sell services to existing clients.
- Track service revenue performance against targets; analyze trends to refine service sales strategies and drive sustainable growth.

- 3+ years of experience in healthcare IT project management or technical implementation, with hands-on experience with EHR/EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, or Meditech preferred) and healthcare regulatory standards (HIPAA, HITECH).
- Project management certification (PMP, CAPM) or healthcare IT certification (CHCIO, CPHIMS) is highly desirable.
- Strong technical skills: proficiency in network infrastructure, cloud computing (AWS/Azure for healthcare), medical device IT integration, and cybersecurity best practices for healthcare data.
- Excellent client engagement skills: ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders (doctors, nurses, hospital administrators) and build trust-based relationships.
- Experience with channel partner management and service revenue generation in the healthcare industry is a plus.
- Ability to travel up to 30% (for client site visits and partner meetings).
