About the Role

 

We are seeking a Field Service Engineer with a strong hardware focus (ideally in medical devices but not essential) to join our growing team. You will work on-site at hospitals across the region with complex medical equipment, supporting hospitals and healthcare providers. This is a field-based role with some time in our office in Hoevelaken (after training we anticipate max 2 days per week), offering exposure to cutting-edge technology and opportunities for career development far faster than those of our competitors.

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Install, maintain, and repair advanced medical devices (patient monitoring, ultrasound, etc.)
  • Troubleshoot hardware issues and provide technical support to hospital staff across the Central & South Netherlands, with occasional support across wider Northwest EU
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure high-quality service delivery
  • Maintain accurate service records and documentation
  • Participate in ongoing training and development

What We’re Looking For

 

  • Experience as a field service engineer, ideally with medical devices or complex equipment
  • Strong hardware skills; IT knowledge is a plus but not essential
  • Comfortable working in hospital environments
  • Based in the centre or south of the Netherlands
  • Fluent in Dutch (native or non-native) and business-level English
  • Flexible, proactive, and eager to learn
  • Ability to work in the Netherlands without the requirement of company sponsorship
  • Experience of ISO27001 and NEN7510 would be highly advantageous
  • Valid MTA or MRB Certificate beneficial
