Title:  Field Service Engineer - Northwest EU (primarily Benelux)

FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER — START IN OUR WORKSHOP, GROW INTO THE FIELD

Location: Hoevelaken, Netherlands (workshop-based initially) → Field-based across Benelux  |  Full Training Provided  |  Clear Path to Field Service Engineer

Keen to train in field service? That's exactly who we want to talk to.

This role is built for someone at the start of their career in medical technology — someone with real hands-on hardware instinct who wants to learn advanced patient monitoring and anaesthesia equipment inside-out before they're ever sent to a hospital on their own. We're not looking for a finished field engineer. We're looking for someone we can build into one.

You'll begin fully based in our workshop in Hoevelaken, working alongside experienced engineers on real equipment, backed by structured product and theory training. Only once you're genuinely confident with the technology will you start shadowing senior engineers on live hospital visits. From there, you'll build up to running your own installs, repairs, and maintenance visits across the region — fully supported, every step of the way.

Your career path

Stage 1 — Workshop Foundation

Based full-time in Hoevelaken. Deep-dive theoretical and hands-on training on our patient monitoring and anaesthesia product ranges. You'll learn how the equipment works, how to install it, and how to diagnose and repair faults — under guidance, with no pressure of a hospital environment yet.

Stage 2 — Guided Field Exposure

Once you're confident with the products, you'll start joining experienced engineers on-site at hospitals across Benelux — seeing real installs, live troubleshooting, and customer interactions first-hand, and starting to take on tasks yourself with support close by.

Stage 3 — Independent Field Service Engineer

As your confidence and competence grow, you'll take on your own patch — installing, maintaining, and repairing patient monitoring and anaesthesia equipment across hospitals in the region, with the workshop and wider team always there to back you up.

About the role

Join a dynamic, innovative team supporting advanced medical technology in hospitals across Northwest Europe (Benelux, with occasional support across the wider region including the Nordics). This is a genuinely field-based role in its end state, but early on you'll spend the majority of your time in our Hoevelaken workshop — offering exposure to cutting-edge technology and a pace of career development faster than you'll find with our competitors.

What you'll be doing

  • Learning to install, maintain, and repair advanced medical devices (patient monitoring, anaesthesia, and more) through structured, hands-on workshop training.
  • Progressing to troubleshooting hardware issues and providing technical support to hospital staff, first alongside experienced engineers, then independently.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Maintaining accurate service records and documentation.
  • Participating in ongoing training and development as you move through each stage of the role.

What we're looking for

  • A strong hardware aptitude and genuine curiosity about how complex equipment works — medical device experience is a bonus, not a requirement.
  • Someone early in their career, or looking to move into field service, who wants to be trained from the ground up rather than arrive as the finished article.
  • Willingness to be based in our Hoevelaken workshop full-time during initial training, and comfortable being on-site there regularly thereafter.
  • Comfortable with the idea of eventually working independently in hospital environments once trained.
  • Fluent in Dutch (native or non-native) and business-level English.
  • Flexible, proactive, and genuinely eager to learn — this role rewards curiosity.
  • Ability to work in the Netherlands without the need for company sponsorship.
  • A technical or vocational qualification (e.g. electronics, biomedical engineering, or similar) is helpful; an MTA or MTB certificate is a plus but not essential.

What makes us different

  • Work with Driven, Like-Minded Colleagues: join a team of passionate professionals committed to making a real impact in healthcare.
  • Be Part of Exponential Growth: our business is rapidly expanding as we continuously challenge and redefine industry standards.
  • Constant Innovation: we bring the latest technology to market faster than our competitors, keeping you at the forefront of the field.
  • Continuous Learning: from day one in the workshop onward, you'll be constantly building new skills in a fast-moving field.
  • Agile, Action-Oriented Culture: we cut through bureaucracy, empowering you to take initiative as you grow into the role.
  • A Real Career Path, Not Just a Job: we invest in you from workshop trainee to independent field service engineer — and beyond.
