Due to the rapid expansion of Mindray’s success, we have an opportunity for a highly motivated, innovative and confident Surgical (Pendants and surgical lights), Ventilation & Anaesthesia Field Service Engineer to join our ultra-ambitious team as we continue to disrupt the market!

As an emotionally intelligent professional with a background of understanding and responding to customers’ needs on site, you will use this role to join our growing business in this position working alongside senior stakeholders in driving key service relationships whilst showcasing your appetite for overachievement.

Experienced in a field-based service role within Surgical / Ventilation & Anaesthesia capital equipment, you will have a background including providing onsite training

This role will be shaped by the right candidate, you will be a self-starter, with an unquestionable influencing and negotiation skills, energised by a varied and fast-paced role. Your responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer calls during office hours, Monday to Friday
  • Take responsibility for the effective management of your designated service area including promoting new contracts and liaising with customers for renewals.
  • Take the service role for installations within the service territory and coordinating the installation of large orders if required.
  • Completing all planned preventative maintenance (PPM) visits on time and to the levels outlined in the service manual.
  • Assist sales and marketing team with technical support and to promote service opportunities.
  • Occasional training of electromedicine staff on designated equipment.
  • Responsible for tracking and maintaining both parts and loaner inventories allocated to them.
  • Support dealers ensuring the best possible customer experience of Mindray.
  • Other tasks or responsibilities designated by the Service Supervisor/Manager.

 

 What are we looking for in you?

 

  • Field based service experience within Surgical / Ventilation & Anaesthesia capital equipment is essential
  • Highly customer focused along with your hunger to achieve more, this role has significant development potential for the right candidate!
  • Technically proficient in the troubleshooting, repair, and calibration of all medical products
  • Evidence of IT Connectivity and Networks
  • An ability to address customer requests through strong listening skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building strong relationships
  • Proven negotiation skills with a problem-solving attitude
  • Fluent in Spanish and English
  • Ability to work in Spain without the requirement of company sponsorship
  • Flexible to travel as required
