The Opportunity:

We’re looking for a passionate and results-driven Sales Specialist to drive sales growth and market penetration of our anaesthesia and patient monitoring solutions across VIC/TAS public and private hospitals. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building strong customer relationships, enjoys working in clinical environments, and is eager to make a meaningful impact in healthcare.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales growth and market penetration of anaesthesia and patient monitoring solutions across VIC/TAS public and private hospitals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective customers to secure new business.
  • Promote and demonstrate new products, coordinating trials and in-services with Clinical Applications Specialists.
  • Provide clinical support in environments such as operating theatres, ensuring proper use and adoption of equipment.
  • Prepare tailored proposals and quotations that address customer needs and support decision-making.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, service, logistics) to deliver seamless customer experiences.
  • Stay up to date with market trends, competitor activity, and product knowledge to refine sales strategy.

 

What We’re Looking For:

Experience:

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in a sales or account management role, preferably in an acute care or medical device environment.
  • An anaesthetic nursing or technician background is highly regarded.
  • Strong knowledge of the VIC/TAS healthcare landscape and existing customer relationships.

Skills & Attributes:

  • A proactive and professional approach with excellent communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Analytical thinking with a strategic and results-driven mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a territory effectively.
  • A positive attitude and adaptability to change.

Qualifications:

  • A qualification in business, marketing, or a healthcare-related discipline is desirable but not essential.
