Job Description:

As a senior IVD Clinical Application Specialist at Mindray, you will utilize your clinical expertise to identify customer training and application service requirements. Your main responsibility will be to develop and deliver product application training and support to customers, aiming to increase customer usage rate and satisfaction with Mindray products. This includes providing installation training, conducting regular customer visits, performing performance verification, and resolving any issues that arise.

In addition to customer support, you will also deliver technical training to the application teams of our distributors. You will provide constructive suggestions for the development of the distributor's application team, contributing to their overall growth and success.

To better understand and meet customer requirements, you will collect and analyze application and clinical information related to our products. This will enable you to provide tailored solutions and support to our customers.

Primary Responsibilities and Contribution:

Customer Support:

  • Conduct planned customer visits as per the application manual and provide technical support to optimize product attributes and achieve maximum customer preference in targeted segments.
  • Perform post-sale demonstrations to develop customer understanding and knowledge of product applications.
  • Occasionally train clinical staff on the designated equipment and ensure customers fully understand and make the best use of the products.
  • Assist customers and distributors in resolving IVD product issues, providing timely responses.
  • Collect feedback from distributors and end-users, summarize and analyze customer requirements for future product development and upgrades.

Other Activities:

  • Train distributor teams to improve product demonstrations to end-users.
  • Provide suggestions for the development of distributor application teams.
  • Maintain a good relationship with local opinion leaders.
  • Gain a deep understanding of key accounts assigned to each application specialist, including developing and maintaining customer relationships. Monitor competitor application activities closely.

 

 

Job Qualifications and Experience:

Education Levels:

Graduate/Post-Graduate, major in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field

Profession: Relevant Professional Category

Experience:

  • More than 3 years of work experience in a clinical laboratory, with proficiency in operating IVD products such as Biochemistry, Immunoassay, and Hematology analyzers. You should be familiar with the principles, functional characteristics, and clinical applications of IVD products. OR
  • 2 or more years of clinical application experience in IVD product companies or their distributors/partners. You should be familiar with the application process and customer relationship maintenance. Experience in delivering technical trainings for IVD products and providing on-site technical support, such as troubleshooting, is preferred.

Language Skill:

  • Good command of both written and spoken English.
  • Arabic language skills are preferred.

Computer Skill:

  • Proficiency in using computers and office software such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Customer-oriented, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Logical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Well-organized and able to work independently with minimal supervision
