Title: Regional Technical Support Engineer - IVD
Key Responsibilities
Regional Technical Support
- Provide timely and effective technical support for IVD products across the region.
- Investigate and resolve technical issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
- Monitor and analyze recurring issues to improve product performance and service quality.
- Support the launch of new products and provide cross-regional technical assistance when required.
Technical Capability Development
- Assess technical capability gaps within regional teams and distributor service teams.
- Develop and deliver training programs to enhance technical knowledge and service capabilities.
- Ensure regional teams are fully equipped to support product installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Localization & Training Support
- Adapt HQ technical materials to meet regional market needs.
- Develop localized training resources and technical documentation.
- Organize regional technical workshops, training sessions, and knowledge-sharing activities.
Service Operations Optimization
- Support the development and improvement of regional service infrastructure, including:
- Technical support processes
- Training center activities
- Spare parts management and service network coordination.
Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical field.
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Service Engineer in the medical devices or IVD industry.
Skills
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and training abilities.
- Ability to analyze technical issues and provide effective solutions.
- Good written and spoken English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
