Position Overview
Due to Mindray’s success, we have an opportunity for a dynamic service expert to demonstrate innovation and technical skills as a Service Engineer within our ultra-ambitious team as we continue to disrupt the market! In this role you will ensure that our customers receive the best possible service support, and that the service is consistently of the highest quality.
We are looking for an Service Engineer experienced in Imaging Systems (the ultrasound knowledge is highly expected!), happy to travel, energized by a varied and fast-paced environment. Your responsibilities:
- Respond to customer calls during office hours, Monday to Friday bearing in mind that customers must be contacted within 24 hrs of their initial call
- Take responsibility for the effective management of your designated service area
- Regular technical training for agent engineers
- When needed, perform corrective repair and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) visits on time in line with Mindray SLA (Service Level Agreement)
- Assist sales and marketing team with tender opportunities as technical support and to promote service contracts
- Occasional training of clinical staff on designated equipment
- Responsible for tracking and maintaining both parts and loaner inventories allocated to them
- Other tasks or responsibilities designated by Southeast Europe Service Manager, Mindray
- Regular hospital visits
- Responsible for regional distributor management, providing technical support, monitoring service KPIs, and continuously improving the overall service capability and performance of channel partners
- Identify and develop service revenue opportunities and make service revenue on the market
What we are looking for:
- Extensive experience in Medical Imaging Systems (MIS), with a strong focus on Ultrasound
- Proven field service experience involving troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, and calibration of medical equipment
- Experience working either directly for a manufacturer or through distributors
- Strong customer-facing and technical support skills
- Fluent Greek and English.
- Willingness to travel approximately 50%, mainly across Greece and Cyprus.
- Experience of working in Greece requiring no company sponsorship to join our business
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an atitude for building strong relationships
