Mindray UK is currently looking to hire a Warehouse Assistant  to closely support the growth of our Italian business. You will work as primary contact person for warehouse employees with regards to all open picking lists.

Essential Job Functions

 

  • Prints all picking lists generated by the Mindray Italy order processing team and divides them accordingly to the instructions.
  • Ensures all special requests for orders are handled properly. This involves communication via email.
  • Handles administrative workload for cycle counts in the warehouse.
  • Ensures urgent orders are processed in a timely fashion according to internal procedures.
  • Handles stock check requests and escalations.
  • Assists with common administrative work in the warehouse.
  • Checks the outbound orders via the SAP system and ensures they’re posted accordingly.
  • Books shipments with our associated forwarders like TNT, DHL, UPS, DB Schenker, BF Logistics and Bomi Group.
  • Handles communication with truck drivers looking to load/unload goods into the warehouse according to internal procedures.
  • Handles any SAP related issues occurring with picking lists and delivery notes.
  • Handles communication with responsible departments regarding required shipping documents like Commercial Invoices.
  • Places orders to our local warehouse suppliers.
  • Handled internal stock transfers in SAP.

 

 

Qualifications and Experience

 

  • Preferably 5 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Experience in the medical devices sector is a major plus.
  • Native/ Fluent in Italian and very good knowledge of English is required.
  • SAP knowledge is preferred but not mandatory.
  • A good telephone manner and communication skills.
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Multi-tasking
  • Well organized and able to function independently with limited supervision. 
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • High level of accuracy and efficiency.
  • Have a sense of urgency when handling issues.
  • Company oriented with excellent professionalism.
  • Strong computer literacy.
  • Strong prioritizing skills.
